Just the same as the pillowcase with which the pillow comes, the change case is made of 100% ranforce cotton (this type of cotton has a more dense and strong texture, compared to an usual cotton material. It’s used for the expensive sheet covers).
The cover has two strings, with which you can tie it in the back, for you to move freely whenever you want, including while breastfeeding. Usually, the baby falls asleep while eating, so you would want to leave him/ her there. Being tied, the pillow won’t fall. You can use the pillow untied; if you choose to use it like this, you can just cut the strings.
On the outside, you have a hidden zipper, which help you change the cover easily, but also closing the cover completely.
Maintenance: you don’t have to do anything special. You can wash it (and iron it) together with your bedsheets or with your baby’s clothes. The color won’t get lost, and the cover won’t deteriorate at high temperatures (max. 60 degrees). Worst case, it can shrink with a few millimeters, but the cover already comes with a few millimeters larger, because we took that into consideration.
If you decide to use only the original covers, you might want to opt for a swaddle while breastfeeding.
